AOL Mail Relay System

Keep your established AOL address and receive eligible new Inbox mail at the email address you use now.

AUTOMATIC AOL INBOX FORWARDING

Forward new AOL Inbox mail to the address you use now.

AOL Mail Relay System is a signed Windows application for people who want to keep an established AOL address while receiving new mail somewhere else. Connect with an AOL app-specific password, select a destination address and schedule, and let Windows forward eligible new Inbox messages automatically.

Fresh Inbox mail only—your existing mailbox stays untouched.

The relay creates a permanent fresh-mail starting point when you activate forwarding. Older mail is excluded, even if it is later marked unread or moved into the Inbox. Forwarded messages are copies; the originals remain in AOL with their existing read or unread status.

AOL Mail Relay System product demonstration

The demonstration is a high-resolution 4K video and may take a few moments to begin on slower connections.

Automatic forwarding requires an awake, connected Windows computer.

The dashboard does not need to stay open, but Windows must be powered on, awake, and connected to the internet when a check runs. Messages received while the computer is asleep or turned off remain in AOL and are eligible after the computer is awake and the relay runs again.

PURPOSE-BUILT MAIL RELAY

Everything needed to move new AOL mail—without moving your mailbox.

The application focuses on one job: copying eligible new messages from the AOL Inbox to a destination address while protecting the original mailbox and pacing outbound delivery conservatively.

01

Connect securely

Authenticate directly with AOL using the account's email address and an AOL app-specific password.

02

Start fresh

Create a permanent fresh-mail boundary so historical messages cannot be mistaken for new mail.

03

Choose the schedule

Run automatic Inbox checks every 30 minutes, hourly, or at longer intervals up to 24 hours.

04

Forward safely

Send copies in paced AOL-safe batches, including normal inline content and message attachments.

05

Preserve originals

Leave messages in AOL without deleting, moving, or changing their read or unread status.

06

See the status

Use the dashboard and readable activity log to confirm checks, forwarded totals, warnings, and recovery.

GUIDED THREE-STEP SETUP

Connect once. Choose your destination. Let the relay run.

The setup verifies the AOL connection before scheduling begins and explains exactly which mail is eligible.

01

Enter both addresses

Choose the destination email address, enter the AOL mailbox, and provide its app-specific password.

02

Confirm fresh Inbox mail

Review the permanent starting boundary and confirm that older mail and other AOL folders remain excluded.

03

Select the interval

Choose how often Windows checks the Inbox, activate mail forwarding, and monitor the healthy status dashboard.

DELIVERY SAFEGUARDS

Designed for ordinary personal mail—not bulk sending.

Conservative pacing, deduplication, failure cooldowns, and a backlog safety limit help prevent a temporary mail problem from becoming an uncontrolled forwarding flood.

RELIABLE BACKGROUND OPERATION

Eligible messages stay queued until a safe check can process them.

Five-message paced batches

Messages are sent individually with spacing between deliveries. Larger eligible backlogs continue through later safe checks and batch rests.

Duplicate protection

Processed message identifiers are retained locally so an already-forwarded message is not sent again during a normal later check.

Failure recovery

If AOL delivery fails, unsent messages remain in the Inbox. The dashboard shows the cooldown or retry status instead of silently changing mail.

125-message safety limit

If more than 125 eligible unprocessed messages accumulate, forwarding pauses as a protective measure instead of attempting a large outbound flood.

LOCAL PRIVACY & CONTROL

Your AOL configuration stays protected on your computer.

The relay connects to AOL only for the mail operations required to check the Inbox and submit forwarded copies.

Protected configuration

The saved AOL app-specific password and relay settings are encrypted for the local Windows installation rather than stored as ordinary readable text.

No mailbox reorganization

The program does not delete, move, mark read, or rewrite original AOL messages. It creates forwarded copies at the selected destination.

Visible customer controls

Run an immediate check, review the log, change settings, inspect current status, contact support, or exit through the main dashboard.

BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD

What you need—and what the relay intentionally does not do.

This is a Windows-based workaround for AOL accounts that do not provide the forwarding option the customer needs. It is not an AOL-hosted forwarding feature.

You need

  • A supported 64-bit Windows desktop or server computer
  • An AOL mailbox and a valid AOL app-specific password
  • The destination email address that should receive forwarded copies
  • Internet access for AOL IMAP, AOL SMTP, and license activation
  • Windows powered on and awake when scheduled checks run
  • A separate license for each computer that remains permanently activated

The relay does not

  • Forward historical messages that predate the permanent fresh-mail boundary
  • Process Junk, Sent, Trash, Archive, or other AOL folders
  • Run while the Windows computer is asleep, hibernating, or powered off
  • Delete or move original mail or change its read status
  • Bypass AOL authentication, delivery limits, filtering, or provider outages
  • Guarantee instant arrival when AOL or the receiving provider delays delivery

THREE DAYS FREE • $5 LIFETIME LICENSE

Keep the AOL address. Receive the mail where you want it.

Install the signed application, test the complete relay for three days, and purchase the inexpensive lifetime license only if it solves the problem for you.
