A SIMPLE POWERSHELL COMMAND CENTER

Built for people learning, experimenting, and creating with scripts.

Experienced engineers may already be completely comfortable building PowerShell commands and managing persistent consoles themselves. Script Runner is intentionally for junior developers, students, AI-assisted creators, and anyone beginning to work with PS1 files who wants a clear, repeatable way to launch them.

Select a script from anywhere on the computer. Script Runner opens it as Administrator with a process-only execution-policy bypass and keeps the console visible, helping you read output and errors that might otherwise disappear when a script window closes.

Helpful convenience—not a script-security scanner.

Script Runner launches the file you select; it does not inspect, approve, repair, or guarantee the safety of that script. Only run PS1 files you created yourself or obtained from a source you trust.

PowerShell Script Runner walkthrough

The vertical demonstration is optimized for desktop and mobile viewing.

Administrator and script-safety notice

The application requests Windows Administrator rights and launches the selected PS1 with -ExecutionPolicy Bypass only for that PowerShell process. It does not permanently change the computer's execution policy. Administrator access can give a script broad control of Windows, so review every script and run only files you trust. The executable is digitally signed by AI Creations Now Software Development; Windows SmartScreen may still show a reputation warning on a new release.

THE COMPLETE WORKFLOW

From PS1 file to readable results in a few clicks.

The interface keeps the process deliberately simple while preserving the console output that a beginning developer may need for testing and troubleshooting.

01

Choose

Open the standard Windows file picker and select a local PowerShell .ps1 file from anywhere on the computer.

02

Launch

Run the selected script as Administrator through a clean Windows PowerShell process.

03

Keep Open

The console uses -NoExit, allowing output and errors to remain visible after the script finishes.

04

Return

Open Recent Scripts and double-click any stored entry to launch it again without browsing for the file.

05

Remember

Maintain quick access to the last 20 successfully launched script paths in one compact list.

06

Clear

Use Remove History whenever you want to delete the locally stored recent-script list.

WHO THIS IS FOR

A practical bridge into PowerShell development.

This utility is not presented as a replacement for professional terminals, integrated development environments, or an experienced engineer's existing workflow.

Junior developers

Launch and revisit scripts without repeatedly reconstructing the full PowerShell command or losing the console after execution.

AI-assisted creators

Test PS1 files created during an AI-guided project while keeping the generated output and error messages visible for the next revision.

Students and occasional users

Use a straightforward file-selection workflow without first becoming comfortable with terminal navigation and command syntax.

LOCAL, PORTABLE & TRANSPARENT

Your scripts stay on your computer.

The utility does not require an AI Creations Now login, licensing heartbeat, subscription, cloud dashboard, or product installer.

Local file selection

The application launches only the local PS1 path selected by the user or chosen from the recent list.

Local history

Up to 20 recent script paths are stored at C:\ProgramData\ScriptRunner\Config\RecentScripts.txt.

Visible history removal

Remove History deletes the recent-history configuration so the list can be cleared directly from the application.
